Fred Astaire’s long and distinguished recording career began and ended in London and this highly collectable 3-disc box set presents every studio title that he recorded in London between 1923 and 1975. Disc 1 covers the period 1923 to 1933 while discs 2 and 3 offer all 37 titles recorded in his marathon series of sessions in July and August of 1975. The box set was conceived and assembled by Ken Barnes who also produced the original 1975 sessions which were arranged and conducted by Pete Moore. Box contains three CDs and an illustrated 20-page booklet with full details of all the sessions.
